Bryan County Jail Roster Records
The official Bryan County Jail inmate search is the first place to check for a current local jail record. It is published by the Bryan County Sheriff's Office and is free to use without a login. The roster page says it shows people in custody, when they were booked, their charges, and additional information. Its search results are sorted by booking date, so new bookings appear at the front of the list unless the name filter narrows the results.
The Bryan County jail roster is built for current county custody. It covers people booked into Bryan County Jail after an arrest by the sheriff's office, Durant Police, or another local agency when detention is required. It is not a statewide prison database, a federal inmate list, or an immigration detention search. If a person was released, transferred, sentenced to Oklahoma Department of Corrections custody, placed in federal custody, or held by ICE, the correct record may sit outside the county roster.
The screenshot below comes from the official Bryan County Sheriff's Office inmate search page and shows the name filter, booking-card layout, mugshot area, and VINE fallback link.
The roster layout matters because each card can lead to the public inmate profile, while the VINE link helps when the person is no longer listed in the current jail population.
Use the Bryan County Roster
A useful Bryan County inmate lookup starts with the spelling of the person's name and the date range when the arrest may have happened. The roster does not publish a wildcard rule, exact-match rule, or minimum character count, so short searches can be less precise than full-name searches. The public page also uses paging controls, which means a person may be on a later page if no name filter is applied.
- Open the Bryan County Sheriff's Office inmate search page and let the current booking cards load.
- Review the date-sorted cards first if the arrest was recent, because the newest bookings appear first.
- Use the "Search by Name..." field to filter the current roster by a person's name.
- Open the inmate card, photo, or name link to view the public profile at the matching booking ID.
- Check the inmate ID, booking date and time, charges, mugshot or placeholder image, and service buttons before taking any action.
- If the person is missing, use VINELink, the jail phone line, a records request, ODOC, BOP, or ICE depending on the custody path.
The profile buttons for web deposits, commissary, and inmate notifications are tied to the selected inmate. Confirm the name and inmate ID before depositing funds or signing up for status alerts, especially when several people share a common last name.
Bryan County Roster Search Fields
The roster has a simple public search surface, but the official page also exposes useful navigation and profile links. The table reflects the search controls and links documented from the Bryan County Sheriff's Office roster and its booking-card layout.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search by Name... | Text input | Optional or unspecified | Filters the current booking list by name; no wildcard instructions are posted; autocomplete is off. |
| Pagination first | Button or link | Not applicable | Moves to the first page of booking cards. |
| Pagination previous | Button or link | Not applicable | Moves backward through the roster pages. |
| Page number | Button or link | Not applicable | Dynamic page numbers are generated for the booking-card list. |
| Pagination next | Button or link | Not applicable | Moves forward when more booking cards are available. |
| View Profile / card image or name | Link | Not applicable | Opens an inmate profile URL using the booking ID. |
| Search VINE Link Now | Button | Not applicable | Opens VINELink for release or transfer checks when a person is not found. |
Note: The official roster metadata says the page is updated hourly, but the jail remains the best contact for custody questions that require immediate confirmation.
Bryan County Inmate Profile Fields
A Bryan County inmate profile shows more than the booking card. The inspected public profile displayed a mugshot area, name, demographic fields, inmate ID, booking date and time, charges, and action links for deposits, commissary, and notifications. The underlying official API also contained some fields that were not visibly labeled in the profile block, such as booking number and classification.
The sample image below is from the official Bryan County sample inmate profile URL inspected for field structure rather than for republication of personal details.
The profile format is important because it separates public booking details from information that was not shown, such as housing unit, court date, bond amount, arresting agency, and projected release date.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| BookingID | The profile-link identifier used in the inmate.php booking URL. |
| InmateID | The local person identifier and a reference used for inmate notification links. |
| BookingNum | A booking number in the observed YYYY-NNNN format, present in the API. |
| BookingDate | The booking date and time, displayed on the profile as booked date and time. |
| Name fields | First, middle, and last name rendered as the public inmate name. |
| Sex, race, and age | Basic demographic fields; age is calculated from DOB while raw DOB is not displayed on the profile. |
| City | Residing city when the city field is not blank. |
| Classification | Security classification in the API, with examples showing Medium Security. |
| Pic | Booking mugshot filename when a photo is available, or a no-image placeholder when blank. |
| Charges | Booking or arrest charge text shown under the Charges heading. |
| Web Deposit / Commissary | Links to Tiger or JailATM services for the selected person. |
| Inmate Notifications | A VINELink notification route for custody status alerts. |
Bryan County Inmate Access Channels
The roster is the quickest Bryan County jail record channel, but it is not the only one. A complete search uses the public roster first, then follows the custody trail. The sheriff's records page handles open records requests for booking records and reports not displayed online. VINELink helps with release or transfer alerts. The jail phone line can answer current custody questions that do not appear on the public profile.
For records not shown online, use the Bryan County Sheriff's Office records request page. The Records Division says it maintains sheriff's office records and processes open records requests. The form asks for requestor contact details, record type, date, and a description of the records requested. It also includes a fee acknowledgment, notes that case numbers are useful, and says a request may have a 24-hour turnaround.
The screenshot below comes from the official Bryan County records request page, the local route for booking records or jail records not visible on the roster.
A precise request should include the person's name, approximate booking date, case number if known, and the record sought, such as a booking record, jail record, or booking photo.
Access channel summary: Use the county roster for current Bryan County Jail custody, the jail phone for urgent status checks, the sheriff records form for copies, VINELink for release or transfer alerts, ODOC for sentenced state prisoners, BOP for federal prison, and ICE ODLS for immigration custody.
Bryan County Jail vs DOC
Bryan County Jail records are local jail records. They usually relate to arrest, booking, pretrial detention, bond, local holds, short-term custody, or transfer. Oklahoma Department of Corrections records are different. Once a person is sentenced and transferred to ODOC custody, the county jail roster may no longer show that person because the custody agency has changed.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | What to Expect |
|---|---|---|
| Current county jail custody | Bryan County Jail roster | Booking cards, profile links, booking date, charges, mugshot or placeholder, and notification links. |
| Released or transferred from county jail | Oklahoma VINELink | Custody status and notification tools, including the sheriff-linked fallback for release or transfer checks. |
| Sentenced Oklahoma state custody | Oklahoma DOC Offender Lookup | Abbreviated offender information; ODOC warns it may not explain sentence details or time to be served. |
| Federal sentenced custody | Federal BOP inmate locator | Name or number search for federal inmates from 1982 to present; no federal mugshot gallery. |
| Immigration detention | ICE Online Detainee Locator System | A-number/country or biographical search for ICE detention checks; JavaScript is required. |
No separate state prison, BOP prison, ICE facility, regional jail, or work-release center was located in official Bryan County sources. The facility list for local detention resolves to Bryan County Jail, operated by the sheriff's office in Durant.
Bryan County Jail Contact
Bryan County Jail and the sheriff's office share the Evergreen Street address used on the sheriff contact page and inmate mail policy. Administrative counter hours are not the same as custody operations, and the research found two official hour references. The sheriff contact page lists administration Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, while OKCounties lists sheriff office hours as 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Confirm lobby hours before arriving.

Bryan County Booking Process
The public record begins after an arresting agency brings a person to Bryan County Jail for detention. The public-facing booking data suggests a practical sequence: identity entry, booking number creation, demographic entry, booking photo, charge entry, classification, and roster posting. The official roster API returned overnight and early morning booking times during research, so booking activity is not limited to administrative counter hours.
Booking charges are not the same as filed court counts. A charge shown on the jail profile reflects the booking or arrest entry. After the arrest, the prosecutor may file, amend, reduce, decline, or add charges in court. For the court path after booking, use Bryan County court records after jail arrest to compare the roster charge with the filed case record.
- Booking
- The jail intake event after arrest, when identity, charges, photo, and custody data are entered.
- Classification
- A jail security assessment used for housing and supervision; the API showed examples such as Medium Security.
- Detainer or hold
- A request or order from another agency that may prevent release even if a local bond issue is resolved.
- Released
- No longer in Bryan County Jail custody; check VINE, court, DOC, BOP, or ICE depending on the case.
Bryan County Inmate Visitation
Personal visits at Bryan County Jail are video and no-contact through NCIC Inmate Communication Systems. Family and friends create an account, select the Bryan County facility, select the inmate, and choose a date and time. Attorney and counsel visits are scheduled with the jail administrator, not through the general family visit flow.
The screenshot below is from the official Bryan County visitation page, which describes NCIC video visit setup and the jail's phone-payment details.
The schedule rules affect roster users because a visit should be planned only after the inmate's current custody status is confirmed through the roster, jail phone line, or VINELink.
| Visit Type | Schedule or Limit | Cost | Rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| Remote off-site video | 6:00 AM-10:00 PM | Not published on sheriff page | Must be scheduled 24 hours in advance; visits are recorded. |
| Remote or on-site video | Two visits per day per inmate | Not published | 20 minutes per visit with a 10-minute cool down. |
| In-house video visit | One free in-house visit every 30 days | First free; additional visits $10 | Video only and no-contact; schedule ahead. |
| Saturday on-site kiosk | Limited openings | Not separately published | For family or friends without internet, if scheduled 24 hours in advance. |
| Attorney or counsel | Scheduled with jail administrator | Not published | Separate from the personal visit process. |
Bryan County Inmate Contact
Mail to the jail must use the inmate name and the Bryan County Jail address at 402 Evergreen Street, Durant, OK 74701. Incoming and outgoing mail must include the full first and last name and the full correct address for both sender and recipient. Former inmates may not correspond with current inmates for six months after release unless the Detention Center Administrator approves it.
For phone service, the visitation research lists Prepaid Collect and PIN Debit options. Family or friends can call 866-797-5578 to set up prepaid phone service. Funds placed on a PIN Debit account become the inmate's property, and the sheriff page says PIN Debit deposits are not refunded. Mail and phone access are separate from the roster, so confirm the person is still held at Bryan County Jail before sending mail or funding accounts.
Bryan County Commissary Funds
Tiger Correctional Services and JailATM handle Bryan County Jail web deposits and commissary links from the sheriff's pages and inmate profile. The sheriff commissary page says money orders are not accepted. It also says commissary orders must be completed by Tuesday evening before 10:30 AM, and that remaining commissary funds on release may be obtained only by the inmate upon release.
Note: Confirm current custody with Bryan County Jail before sending funds, scheduling visits, or relying on an older booking profile.
